Robert H. Sharron, Ph.D. , CEO & Founder
Bob has a career history spanning more than twenty-three years as an entrepreneur,
industrial psychologist, and CEO. In 1982 he became partner at Hurst Associates Inc of
Boston MA, where he headed the Executive Development and Assessment Division. By 1987,
he had founded the USA operations of the SHL Group plc, building that company from
inception to being the number one provider of employee selection and testing systems to
Fortune 1000 companies. After SHL went public in 1996 (London Stock Exchange), Bob went
on to become Managing Principal for a newly launched division of Educational Testing
Services (ETS) in Princeton, NJ. That ETS division strategically focused on HR
consulting to Global 2000 companies. While at ETS, Bob expanded operations in Europe
and Asia Pacific and headed all domestic corporate consulting. In 1999, he founded
Criterion International, an Internet based assessment company that was purchased by
ePredix, Inc, one of the leading firms in Internet based employee-testing systems.
Following a two and a half year tenure as President of Manchester, Inc. (a career
management consulting firm) and a unit of the MPS Group Inc. (MPS:NYSE), Bob provided
the creative work in performance management automation that led to the founding of
Navient Corporation. Bob holds a PhD from Boston College, and is a member of the
American Psychological Assn (APA) and a member of the Society of Industrial &
Organizational Psychologists (SIOP).
Ronald C. Page, Ph.D.
Ron is an entrepreneur and a senior level industrial psychologist whose career
has been dedicated to developing and implementing innovative human resource programs.
Focusing on employee and organizational effectiveness, he has extensive experience in:
competency modeling and job analysis, selection system design and validation,
individual assessment, performance management, job evaluation, 360º assessment,
career planning, and leadership development. He has held senior HR roles at the State
of Minnesota, Control Data Corporation, Hay Management Consultants, Saville &
Holdsworth Ltd., and Human Resource Consultants and has managed HR initiatives in North
America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Dr. Page has authored over 40 papers, articles, book
chapters, and presentations on various human resource topics and was a recipient of the
2004 Research Award from the Minnesota Career Development Association. He is a Licensed
Psychologist (LP) and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has been an
Adjunct Professor at the Industrial Relations Center (IRC) of the Carlson School of
Management (CSOM). He obtained his Ph.D. in Counseling and I/O Psychology from the
University of Minnesota.
Nicolas J. Wegener
Nic is the founder and chairman of Serio Technologies Inc., a MN based technology
firm. He is a seasoned programmer; writing fluently in over 14 programming
languages and has created and delivered hundreds of online applications for Serio
Customers. Nicolas also gives back to the community through a number of
Open-Source support forums including qmail, MySQL, Fedora Core, Samba and TCPHP.
Nic is a part owner of Navient Corporation and serves as a Senior Partner and Technical
Advisor to the company. Nic is the chief architect of Navient’s
HiringNavigator™ testing and assessment platform and has been the Senior Engineer
of the Adobe ® AIR based system version of the TapDance Skills Testing program
– TapDance Live!
In his career thus far, Nic has served as an Inventory Control/Point of Sale software
specialist veteran and also was responsible for the installations & maintenance of
some of Minnesota’s medium sized retailers and IT systems including Schuler
Shoes, Love From Minnesota and Archivers. As a result he
realized the need for centralized systems controlling Inventory, Sales Force Management
and Self Service Customer Service. Nic has created a new generation and suite of
products for Serio Technologies utilizing bi-communication and porting
methodologies. He is currently engaged in advanced studies in Computer
Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
